Berry Bros. & Rudd and Coterie Holdings have announced the planned sale of Berry Bros. & Rudd’s Japanese wholesale division to Coterie Holdings.
Under the agreement, Berry Bros. & Rudd’s wholesale activities in Japan will transfer to The Wine Experience, a specialist fine wine importer owned by Coterie Holdings, along with the majority of the producers currently represented by BB&R Japan.
The two companies are working closely together to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of service for trade customers.
The private client division of Berry Bros. & Rudd Japan will remain part of Berry Bros. & Rudd and will continue to serve its customers, as it has done since 2008.
